Meeting Point
Created for the 2024 Evanisko Project, Meeting Point is an interactive installation designed for the Pattee & Paterno Library to foster connection across Penn State’s diverse student body. The exhibit invites students to share prompt-based cultural stories, celebrating the many backgrounds and perspectives that shape our campus community.

The design process began with in-depth research on cultural perceptions, including interviews with university experts in cultural anthropology, data visualization, and DEI. Insights from this research informed the concept and structure of an interactive exhibit that invites students to share their cultural stories and foster campus-wide connection.
As part of the initiative, the team created a comprehensive exhibition plan for the Pattee & Paterno Library, including display mockups, stakeholder presentations, a detailed budget, and a marketing strategy. The installation is scheduled to launch during the Fall Semester.
The Process

This project provided us with the freedom to pursue any idea related to the theme of connections within our group. It served as our introduction to working collaboratively, teaching me how to effectively contribute to a team while expressing my ideas openly. As we delved into our research, we encountered various adjustments, highlighting the critical role of thorough research in our creative process. This project also marked one of our initial experiences engaging with real-life clients, necessitating presentations before a board of stakeholders.
