Point Of View
Point of View is a vibrant campaign and brand identity created for a three-day exhibition showcasing the work of Penn State’s senior graphic design class. The concept centers on amplifying each student’s unique voice while making design feel approachable and relevant to a broader audience. Through a mix of bold visuals, dynamic type, compelling photography, and cross-platform promotion, the campaign invites viewers to see design—and designers—from a new perspective.

Bold Color, Typography & Playful Brand Voice
Our campaign uses bold typography and animated, type-driven posters to capture attention across Penn State’s campus. Centered around the slogan “We Are More Than You Think,” Point of View challenges design stereotypes and defies expectations—mixing humor and playfulness to spark curiosity and engagement.

Point of View extends its reach through social media, strategically engaging non-design students. The Penn State Graphic Design Instagram showcases polished campaign visuals and features interviews with each student, allowing followers to connect with the people behind the work—not just the work itself. Meanwhile, TikTok offers a more casual, behind-the-scenes look, creating a relatable and authentic connection.
Social Media Takeovers

Following a semester of marketing and planning, our team launched a three-day showcase that completely transformed a Penn State studio space on a tight budget. We painted the walls, designed custom signage, and created a fully immersive exhibition featuring anamorphic typography and individual installations for each student. The event also included branded merchandise, extending the experience beyond the space itself.
A Collaborative Exhibition Experience

The Point of View Design Team
Point of View taught me how to bring a large-scale campaign to life—from initial concept to final execution. I gained hands-on experience with creative direction, exhibit design, and multi-platform storytelling, all while working collaboratively under real deadlines and constraints. I also learned the importance of designing with both designers and non-designers in mind, and how to balance bold visuals with clear communication to create something that’s both impactful and accessible.
